During the initial start up phase, the company surveyed different technologies available at the time and began to research the many facets of home automation technology. The idea was simple - find technology that allows for innovation, but is affordable compared to systems that millionaires have in their homes. After using many, if not every, software solution demonstration on the internet, the best one suited for the goal was selected as the backbone. Since the software selected was universal with current smart home technologies, the hardware solution was the next step. The final decision came down to Z-wave, a wireless solution that was more reliable and lower cost than outdated X10 technology and allowed for innovation. After research was complete, the company decided to examine market conditions while digging deeper into the capabilities of the system. During this time, the home building and existing home market experienced a back-breaking bust. The company decided to put things on hold for a short time before launch, and continued experimentation with the system. April of 2007, the company officially launched to the public. Since then, Automated Intelligence has offered the most affordable and feature packed smart home solutions. Experimentation carved the path for future projects, which is an on-going process today. Soon, the systems will have the ability to use facial recognition to determine who has come and gone or arrived at the front door. Technology of the "future" is coming soon, and Automated Intelligence will bring it to reality. We do not simply sell and install equipment; rather, we design and develop new technologies and bring dreams to life. |
