![]() Vision "Everyone deserves to have technology in their home combined and working for them, not against. We pay for services that do not interact that should, we utilize stressful schedules and habits that our grandfathers and fathers did before us, and we live in a world of insecurity and constant struggle. I do not believe automation is for the rich and famous, but instead for everyone who works to uphold our society and economy." -Christopher Hoffman Co-owner "Why perform menial tasks if there is a perfectly good computer waiting and ready to do it for you? Home automation is about embracing technologies that have been available to us for decades, but also enhancing them and developing new technologies. I will not sit by and watch home automation continue to stagnate because the industry lacks innovation. If you can dream it up, it either already exists or it can be created much easier than you may think... And we will make it happen." -Andrew Flesner Co-owner We believe in a world where different technologies finally become cohesive. We believe technology is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. Our vision is clear - everyone deserves to live in harmony with technology. Modern technology is a very elusive phrase, yet many people are aware that it changes constantly. As soon as you purchase a new computer, for instance, you have about a year before it becomes obsolete. However, many people do not realize that TiVos, PS3s, Xbox 360s, and even the receivers for your satellite and cable are actually computers. Our primary vision is to provide the average person with affordable technology that rivals expensive high-end solutions. Systems that cost tens of thousands of dollars are in fact just a luxury, as the only true functional difference is the price tag. Costs of technology always plummet downward from the initial release of something new; as it ages, it gets cheaper. We have researched and researched, and after we finished we researched even more, to select only the best match for our vision. This is what we offer to the average person - technology that functions better with a lower price tag. Our competitors use archaic technologies which, due to their nature, are more expensive because they are outdated. Our products are newer, cheaper, more practical, and have more features. Our system fits our vision of innovation. We are hard at work developing features that make even more sense. A common misconception of home automation is that it just turns lights off and on. We are developing features and offering products that utilize biometrics - deadbolts that recognize fingerprints, cameras that recognize faces - to offer solutions that make sense. A very clichéd example is the cartoon show "The Jetsons," yet no one is actually making a push to make Jetsons-like technology available. We are developing technology that allows a wet floor-cleaning robot to detect spills, and clean it up. Wireless technology is our method of choice, as wired systems or systems using existing wiring are limited to things plugged into your wall. Unless you live on the baseboards of your home, this technology is not forward looking enough for us to accept. Visions must have substance, and a container to hold that substance. We believe strongly in education, and not only educate ourselves but we educate people new to the home technology market. Selling a system to a family and leaving them to figure out how to use their purchase is not only a waste of their time, but also a waste of ours. People that cannot use their systems do not put us near our goal, and do not fit our vision. By offering the first month of technical support free, we give new owners the freedom to ask as many questions as possible, and as many times as possible. If the situation calls for in-home guidance, we will be there. Visions are the most important aspect of any new frontier. Many companies simply attempt to dive into a growing market to pull out a hefty paycheck. We approach the market with a goal and a vision; a dream - bring technology to the people, make new technology for the people, and overall educate the people. The modern world is changing, are you?
